Day 01
Puerto Montt

Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas

Upon arrival to Puerto Montt, reception at the airport and transfer to Puerto Montt city to begin with a visit to the main square of the town, the Plaza de Armas including the Cathedral and the monuments to the German settlers. Continue to a viewpoint overlooking the town and the Reloncaví Sound, where on a clear day the numerous volcanoes of the area and the Chiloé Island can be seen. Travel through a residential area to reach the coastal road. The tour continues to the fisherman’s village of Angelmó where it is possible to taste some of the local fresh seafood and discover the local wooden crafts and woolen articles for sale. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel in Puerto Varas. (Passengers with services by seat in coach (SIB), with transfer directly to the hotel + pm sightseeing tour).

Day 02
Puerto Varas

Puerto Varas - Peulla - Puerto Varas

Hotel: Casa Kalfu Hotel (3* Boutique) or similar

Full Day Excursion Peulla (SIB):

Transfer from you hotel to the starting point to start the excursions bordering the Llanquihue lake towards Petrohue with a stop en route to visit the Petrohué river Falls, located in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, and then continue to the dock at Todos Los Santos lake to board a catamaran that will take you to Peulla village located to the other side of the lake (1:45 h).  The journey is on the emerald waters of the lake, with stunning vistas of the Osorno Volcano and the peaks of Puntiagudo and El Tronador mountains in the background. Lunch (set menu) in Peulla. Free time for walking or to take an optional tour. Return to Puerto Varas and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 03
Puerto Varas

Puerto Varas - Chiloé Island - Puerto Varas

Full Day Excursion to the Chiloé Island:

Departure towards Pargua to board a ferry to cross the Chacao channel (30 min.) until you reach Chacao on the Chiloe island. The trip continues to Castro visiting the famous “palafitos” in Gamboa neighborhood, houses built on stilts over the water and painted with bright colors;  the handicraft market, the Plaza de Armas and its church built in 1912 by the Italian architect Eduardo Provasoli (one of the 16 churches declared a Word Heritage site by UNESCO in 2000). On the way back, you will make a stop in Ancud to visit the fort of San Antonio, the regional museum that has part of the history and mythology of Chiloe, ending the visit with the central market (fish, vegetables and handicrafts). Return to Puerto Varas. Overnight.

Cancellation Policy

Please Note:
To cancel without penalty fee:
* Hotels: 5 days prior arrival, no charge and 7 days during high season, except:
- Casa Kalfu: 9 days prior arrival
* Land services: 7 days prior arrival.
* For special dates, you will be informed at the time of confirmation.
* You must be informed before the deadline indicated above (working days) in order to avoid the late cancellation fee.

Special Notes

    • During Christmas and New Year (Dec 25 and Jan 01), the services will have a surcharge of 25% and will be granted only after 10 am.
    • On Dec 24 and 31 there is no SIB service to the island of Chiloé (long trip excursion).
    • SIB transfers from/to airport operate from 8 am to 9:30 pm.
    • Rates are subject to confirmation during holidays and long weekends (Easter, National Holidays Sep/18, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, etc).
    • Itinerary could be changed according to flight schedules, climate conditions, or in order to provide a better service.
    • All excursions and navigations are subject to weather conditions.
    • We act only as intermediaries of the companies whose products extend the services. We do not assume any responsibility for train, bus, ship or any transportation service, and the hotels used by passengers; we are also not responsible for any act, mistake or omission, or for any damages caused by vehicles or people related to the suppliers. Additional expenses, if any, will be on passenger account.

  • The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.

Your reservation is always subject to confirmation by email, normally within one to two business days.

* Price for Single Occupancy applies when one person stays in one standard hotel room.
* Price for Double/Triple Occupancy applies when two/three people stay in one standard hotel room respectively.
* Triple price does not guarantee a third bed in the room. Please check the availability at the time of check-in.
* Children enjoy the same price as adults as the 3rd person in one room.
* Maximum room capacity: 3 people including adult and child/infant.

    1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
    2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a status update email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
    3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
    4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
