Experience Kauai Day Trips & Sightseeing Tours

Called the "Garden Isle" for its flourishing vegetation and plant life, Kauai is the oldest and smallest of the four main Hawaiian islands at 553 square miles. The island is one of the wettest places in the world with a rainfall average of 440 inches per year. Kauai is said to be named after one of Polynesian explorer Hawaiʻiloa's sons and it was one of the last Hawaiian islands to unite under King Kamehameha I's kingdom. Its Waimea Bay area was reached by Capt. James Cook in 1778. Some of Kauai's many attractions include Waimea Canyon, Kauai Museum, Fern Grotto, Hanalei Valley Lookout, Opaekaa Falls and Wailua Falls.
